KjBible.org was originally meant as a replacement for my first online Bible site, phpBible.org. I wanted a domain
that was more to the point and less confusing, and I also wanted to add newer technology. By I then was able to get
the domain myOpenBible.org, and built a much more diverse and functional online Bible site there. Meanwhile fans and
users of the original phpBible.org asked if it could remain, so I put it back, and then revamped it with newer technology.
So I decided to try an experiment. the new kjBible.org is a combination of the newest technologies, Bootstrap 4, jQuery,
html5, etc and the older 1720ish version of the King James Bible. It also is intended to utilize a static delivery method
relying on a functional site I created at jsonBible.org to provide the Bible text, while the static coding at this server
delivered the text formated to reproduce the look and feel of an older Bible.
I like the irony of using the latest technology to deliver the Bible in the way people viewed it centuries ago.
